Nikki Daluga-Guenther, M.Ed., M.P.H.,
Program Evaluation Coordinator
Nikki Daluga-Guenther has spent the past 7 years serving as LUME Institute’s Program Evaluation Coordinator. Her role has involved macro level program evaluation process planning, identifying, selecting, and building evaluation tools, data collection and management, data analysis and interpretation, and reporting program outcomes to a variety of audiences. She also supports data-driven storytelling and reflection with the organizations that LUME serves and manages LUME's research practice partnership with the University of Missouri St. Louis.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Indiana University, a Masters of Public Health in Behavioral Science and Health Education from Emory University, and a Masters of Education in School Counseling from Georgia State University. In her life before LUME, she worked as a university-based Research Project Coordinator and a Professional School Counselor. Her public health research focused on adolescent and young adult risk behavior and its prevention. As a K-12 school counselor, she provided direct service to students and families through individual and small group counseling, classroom guidance, and career development programs. Her work in schools also involved frequent engagement with educational data.
Before Nikki found LUME, she always felt deeply that her promotion and prevention work in public health and education were somehow missing something. Here, she discovered her life’s passion and purpose - development before children ever set foot in a Kindergarten classroom. Fostering early childhood environments where adults intentionally provide emotionally responsive relationships that empower children to learn, grow, and thrive is truly the most important public health investment we can make to foster lifelong well being. Nikki is beyond grateful for the privilege to serve an organization that promotes systemic change for the good of all families and children. When she isn’t buried in delightful data, she is an avid swimmer who also loves to sing, dance, read, cook/bake, and travel with her little family of three.
