Early Childhood Specialist

Amber Buchheit holds a degree in Child Development, has comprehensive experience in Early Education & Head Start/Early Head Start programming, and is a certified coach.  Through her own process of transformation and a career change after twenty years, Amber is showing up as her truest self these days—a perfectly imperfect, tender-hearted "squiggle" who is letting go, looking on the bright side, and living a healthier, connected, & balanced life. Her role at LUME Institute aligns with her purpose to lead with love, nurture metacognition, foster systems change and inspire hope. She is deeply committed to her own growth and development and finds motivation in collective learning, discourse, and reflection with her teammates, educators, leaders, and community partners. Amber's personal and professional journey ignited her passion to coach others towards self-discovery, resiliency, and a life of possibilities so that they can live into their fullest human potential.
